This is "Kamakura" by Japanese artist Hiroshi Wakabayashi. "Kamakura" is named for Kamakra-Nuri which is the art of painting Urushi Lacker at the Kamakura District. The body of these scopes are made of Kiri wood which is very light. Each scope comes with a black wooden stand. These scopes come in 2-mirror, 3-mirror and 4-mirror versions. These scopes all have non-turning, end-lit, fluid-filled object chambers that include iridescent material. They measure 7-1/4"L x approx. 2" in diameter.
