David Collier selects solid wood - oak, padouk, black walnut, cherry, and occasionally burl - to create the layered effect of this small scope. Woods are laminated together, hand-turned on a lathe, and then sealed with teak oil and mineral wax. The unusual fluid, bubble image in this scope was invented by Michael and incorporated by his father, David. Kaleidopod can do double duty as a paperweight, stands 3" tall, and has a diameter of 3 1/2".
