"Art History 101" is a very unique handheld kaleidoscope set by artist Scott Cole of Laughing Eye Studio. This scope has an etched metal body and a turning end, liquid-filled object chamber with lampworked glass. This scope has both a 2-mirror and a 3-mirror system and the set includes 4 separate glass object cells that are 2-1/8" in diameter, metal rimed, and each of which depicts the following works of art in miniature: Bosch - "The Garden of Earthly Delights", Coolidge - "Dogs Playing Poker", Van Gogh - "Starry Night Over the Rhone", and Seurat - "A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte". Each of these 4 art object cells attach to the wooden stand with small magnets and can be used interchangebly as object cells for the kaleidoscope. All of the object cells attach to the scope body with small magnets. The scope is 9-1/4"L x 2-3/8" in diameter.
